Grand Park

Phase One of the City of Myrtle Beach Grand Park is now under construction.  The project, located on the former Air Force Base and across the street from the Market Common, consists of several ball fields, picnic areas, walking trails and a grand lawn.

The seven-diamond softball complex has also been planned to accommodate organized soccer games and ticketed festivals. Equally as important as the ball complexes is the proposed Grand Lawn.

 

The Grand Lawn will have two primary components: a gently-sloped amphitheater with a bandstand back-drop by the lake, and an open expanse of lawn reserved for both general play and organized sports.
